To ensure Full Immunization of all the children and pregnant women of the city and especially of those belonging to slum and high risk population.
Reporting and continuous supervision of Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) and making all the efforts to decrease the VPD cases.

DPT | Boosters at 16-24 months & at 5-6 years |
OPV | OPV '0' dose: within 2 weeks of birth 6,10 & 14 weeks. (Booster at 16-24 months) |
Measles | First dose at 9 completed months and Second dose at 16-24 months (given upto 5 yrs if not received) |
Vitamin A(1st dose) (2nd to 9th dose) |
At 9 months with measles vaccination 16 months with DPT/OPV booster, then 1 dose every 6 months upto 5yrs |
Japanese Encephalitis** | 16-24 months |
*Give TT-2 or Booster doses before 36 weeks of pregnancy. However, give these even if more than 36 weeks have passed. **In JE endemic districts after the campaign. |
